  • EFV question

    Hi,
This is nearly impossible, but, theoretically, what are the steps for someone to get an EFV who is currently incarcerated on LWOP, in closed custody and marriage hasn't taken place and no kids.

Is it this.. 1) They have to go to Medium Custody, 2) Marriage, 3) 3 year wait?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. This is what it says in the DOC policy; An offender who is sentenced to the death penalty, assigned to maximum/close custody level, or housed in restrictive housing per DOC 320.255 Restrictive Housing is excluded from participating.

    2. Yes
    3. Yes

Also, if he is in for domestic violence, he probably won't get approved at all.
