    Default Help Please!!!!

I need alittle help and see if any of yall have been in this situation. My hubbie just got transferred to East Tx Treatment in Henderson. Our parole att. called the Parole board and everyone to see why he is there, and they said that he is not in the program or anything. This place is a 6 month substance abuse program. This is where they sent them to do this program before they come home. He doesnt come up for parole did Dec and his 6 month review is in June. Why would they send him there? Any help would be helpful. Thank you. Im freakin out over here.

TDCJ works in very mysterious ways with their decision. The only one who would know is your husband and TDCJ. There really is no definite answer but one can speculate. There can be many reasons or just one of why he's there.

There ISF (Intermediate Sanction Faclity)Facility serves as a DWI, Substance Abuse, and for Probation and Parole Offenders. (http://www.tdcj.state.tx.us/stat/unitdirectory/xq.htm)

I do know that during intake (and it can happen sometime after intake) is a Substance-Abuse Counselor can interview and make an evaluation about an Offender and report that to TDCJ. So, whatever is said or talked about during the interview may lead him there.

Also, Parole Violators may get sent to an ISF Facility. One suggestion would be that the paperwork simply didn't catch up. I notice TDCJ takes some time to process and get paperwork through after they send somewhere somewhere.

There's no real reason why. Just a bunch of ideals. I'd say it's better to call back and speak to someone who can give you details based on his case. They don't randomly just send people places without a good reason and most of the time they don't let loved one know. They tell you that it's up to them to let you know why they're transferred or what's going on.

Good luck! I hope you keep us posted as to what's gong on.
