Just found out today that the phones @Wynne unit in huntsville have been on and resdy to use since tuesday

I got a phone call from my son at Jordon Unit in Pampa . It was SO nice just to hear his voice.We are working on a hardship case so he may can get moved closer to me so I can go see him, Its been a year a least since Ive got to visit , & I miss him so since they moved him to the panhandle ( Im in Deep East Texas & in poor health.

Also, I sent him an ELetter. Not sure how that works are how long it takes . How does he reply ? By regular mail are can he eletter me back?

It will be by regular mail since they have no access to email !! The prison will print your email off and send it to them...It's a lot more convienent if you dont want to go to the post office or wait to catch the mailman when he comes by !!

I registered my phone last week and recieved an email this morning saying I was'nt on his list....what kind of information does he need to put me on his list just a name or does he need like a street address instead of my po box?? I do have a street address....and the phone is in my name

Also I can't find out if there is charge other than the 26cents per minute for the collect calls. someone told him that there was an extra charge? it would be nice if TDCJ would have given us a little more information on the details.

hey this is my first time dealing with the prison system.. i want to have my fiancee call my cell phone collect. i was told about PRISON LINES...??? how does it work?? whats the process??? and is it worth it????...PLEASE HELP ME

Could anyone/someone please tell me how to hook up my cell phone so my husband could call me on it. he is at Solidad, for the first time today he called after 5 months in reception on my fathers land line, I dont want my father complaining about his phone bill. So I really want to put prepaid time on my cell phone. Thank you!!!!

please you mean they can call on our cell phone. Please tell there is a way. Cuz Im gonna break a brink over his Damn head. Hes been there for 12yrs and he could of said something.. It would be nice if they could call us on the cell. If anyone knows please let me know too.
