I shouldn't have been so excited to find my long lost cousin who's serving time somewhere in Nevada. After my excitement in writing to him, I find that he's not able to send an email back. For $3.85 I paid to send the email, to possible a wrong person, oh my goodness, I just don't know what to say. Seems to be a bit expensive. I'd feed comfortable paying that fee if my loved one was able to send an email back. What a crock this program is, I feel. Sorry, this is not to offend anyone... I'm just a one-time user, probably.

It is only the cost of a stamp to send an email! Most end up paying 20 cents for their stamps if they buy quanity. If You had your cousins DOC # then it made it to the right person. ALL Information is there on the JPay Site of what services the facility has that houses the inmates and it would have told you on the screen if he could email you back, also there would have been an option for you IF you wanted to prepay for a reply.

Are you positive it was $3.85 for one single email? That doesn't sound right and I never heard of anyone else complaining of that type of cost. JPay doesn't service the prison my man is located but there is another company and it only cost me .60 to send an email. The cost of a stamp and of course a little extra for them to make their profit. I thought most of the email services had the same type of fees, give or take a few cents.

The other night I was so upset because I couldn't log on to send a letter. Would not let me on so I clicked on forgot email address and I also clicked on forgot passwaord I hadn't but something was wrong when it asked for my phone number it told me not listed! I had smoke coming out of my ears I had to send this letter off for his parole plan, I waited till the last minute to do this. Well I looked at my email address I was using and instead of the . before com I had a , comma before com.
I got into my account and checked my phone number and I had listed it without the - in between the numbers you now 000-000-0000 I had it 0000000000 DUH! So I hope they help you figure out your problem cause I know the feeling!

When I sent the e-mail I click on the e-mail that was listed. I did not type it in, I just clicked the one that is on the site and it went straight to my e-mail. Then a few min. later I got the response back about it not being valid. I have sent another one, doing it the same way. Maybe it went thru. If not I will call them

So did it go through now!? Sometimes reading these post they have some problems over there at times. Gets fixed right away but doesn't make us feel any better when we are going through problems trying to get into our accounts.
