    Default Parole Advocate

Just wanted people to know that my son saw the parole board and they took forever to reach a decision. I called a Parole Board Advocate and they spoke with the board and he had is parole the next week. VERY happy and very resonably priced. I would recommend for anyone who has seen the board and is waiting for a decision.

Yes, they will prepare you to see the board, help you with any problems you are having with the mdoc and most importantly follow up with the board after a hearing. It takes the board forever sometimes. The number is 517-366-9446. His name is Matt and he can walk you through the process. Let me know if you need more info.

Specifically, they help prepare you for parole and once he see the board they monitor the decision. Essentially they make sure the board does not screw you and flop you for no reason and if they do they will get you a rehearing. As for cost it cost me $500 to have them get in touch with the parole board and get my son his decision. Very much worth it. They all do PSI review and correction and help with any MDOC issues (at least that is what his card says)

What about if he already saw the board, but hasnt heard back yet? If he gets flopped, would they check into that still?

The number is 517-366-9446, the rates are different depending on what they do for you. The only rate I personally am aware of was $500 to monitor the parole board decision and make sure they follow policy as far as how long they take to get you a decision. Without an advocate I heard of it taking 3-6 months. For me it took 23 days. Also they can help get him into groups if that is a recommendation.

    Default Parole Advocate

We were thinking of hiring Matt do walk us through the next phase of my son's journey..he just got a 12 month flop and has to take some courses but
we're not even sure when or which ones. I've spoken with Matt 4 or 5 times..he is very compassionate and kind. His charges differ for each situation and, keep in mind, he doesn't affect any decision, he just helps with monitoring the progress if possible. He also makes you feel like you're not alone........ I would be happy to hear from any others who have spoken with or used Matt....Blessings to you all
