My man is in prison for sleeping with a girl that was 14 and he was 18 at the time. I am wondering if anyone knows the Michigan laws on him being around children after he is done with parole. I have 3 children and I plan to spend the rest of my life with him. I am just hoping that he will be able to be around them after he is done.

Im a mother with two kids and going through the same thing but his charge is 11 years old and also considered a low risk. my family seems to think im going to get my children takin away. i dont see why they would but i still want to make sure.the charge was in tx
so please if anyone could help me with this question it would put my family at ease. thank you

hey there as long he is off parole he can be around children. i hope this helps!

If they have to register look into the conditions set forth on the registration like my friends brother cannot ever be in a house with kids under 18 or he will be violating his registration rules On the form they fill out it asks if they have children in home ... ages and so on and I know when his wife had their little girl the State came and did a house visit 2-3 times a year for like 4 years and he was off parole it is just a condition in that State for him being a registered Sex Offender
