Default offender registry

my son said he was told yesterday that everyone has to register for 15yrs. now. Has anyone else heard anything about that? Please let me know. Thank you and have a blessed day.

If you are talking about sex offenders, here in Florida it is for the rest of their lives. I dont know about where you are from. You probably could find out by calling a probation officer or his classifications officer at the institution he is in.

As far as I know, here in Michigan it is forever. I haven't heard anything on a set time limit as an offender.

As far as I know Indiana is not for life it depends on your case. The state requires a minimum of 10yrs. unless they changed it to 15.

In the State of Florida all convicted felons are required to register with their local police department. It doesnt matter the nature of the charge.
