Does anyone know what phone services you can use to set up a prepaid acct for your loved one yo csll home besides icsolutions in kansas? My husband is at hutch central.. any info would be great.
My son is at Hutchinson central also. We use ICSolutions, would be great if there was something cheaper.
ICsolutions is the only company because it is what the prison uses. Do you have a local number to the prison though? I have a Lansing number because that is where my Husband is and the calls cost us $2.19 for 2 hours of talk and if he puts money on his phone account they are only $1.96 for 2 hours...
Does anyone know if the money from county jail goes with them? How do we tell how much they have? Sorry for all the questions this is all new to me and alot to take in>
The phone is changing on 3-1 and it's going to he horrible. .18 per min, if they pay .17 I have no idea if it switches, I would doubt it. Your number will have to be approved with the prison.

send him money with jpay or a different way for him to put it on the phone. Sorry I am very new to all this, have never dealt with anything like this before. I dont know anything about the jails or prisons except what i have heard or read.
Yeah, send it with JPay or Access. He'll use it to pay for calls.

My man may not be perfect but he's the perfect man for me!!!
So if my husband pays for the phone in jail it is cheaper?? How dose that work? Thanks for any advice you can give. This is so frustrating.
I believe if you send him money thru Jpay to put money on the phone it is only .17 a minute rather than .18 if you do it thru ICSolutions.
You no longer need a local phone......The fees are straight across if its local or not. I hate this change. Calls are so much more expensive and we get less time.
I just reread your post. This is for KDOC. I have no clue about county jails.
