Hi, this is so overwhelming. My husband got transferred from county to one intake prison but he couldn't stay there so the day before I was gonna get to go see him, they moved him to another unit because he could not be contained in a dorm community. SO now he is further away from me and they say it will be 6 weeks before I can go see him. He can't use the phone during this time and I miss him awful. So I thought I would reach out to y'all 'cuz nobody understand why I am standing by him. So anyone I tell that I miss him has all this judgmental attitudes and I am so heartbroken about all of this. So if there is anyone who can help me get through this I would be very grateful. I finally got some money to him, that is how I found this forum.

Try to keep yourself busy and the time will go by faster. Write letters about you and your family and send him pictures too. Keep your head up, you can do this.

I know what u goin throught i used to speak to my bf everyday when was in county, he just got shipped off like 2 days ago and i am going out of my mind. I havent heard from him in 2 days and its killing me. But all we can do is keep busy and stay strong, for ourselves and loved ones.

Y'all are real sweet. Where did your BF get sent to? We are in Texas my husband went to the Byrd unit in Huntsville Texas

I know it seems like eternity when you are waiting..I have waited also but once things get going,the phone calls the visits it helps ease things alot...And if your love ones are anything like mine they will be calling you all the time...Good luck to you all and have a blessed day

Yes it does make a difference to hear his voice. Plus I feel lost with out him. We were very close before he got arrested and then we adjusted to making decisions and running our home and family over the phone and with weekly visits and now who do I ask? I am not used to handling the kids and the house and stuff on my own. I am very dependant on my husband and I guess I need to get better at that. It is just heartbreaking to have him in prison. I am sure nobody really deserves it but he doesn't belong there. You have been a real doll. I got out all the court info so I can call tomorrow. We really are blessed that is for sure it could just have easily been my husband who is in the grave God bless the family of the person who died in this awful tragedy.
