Default King of the castle! :king:

What are you looking forward to when your significant other comes home? For example, are they the maintenance person-always fixing things, the disciplinarian- keeping the kids in line or maybe the chef- holdin the kitchen down? Mine does the yard work with the boys, helps out in the house with little DIY projects and cleaning. Our kids know I yell a whole lot but when he speaks they listen without him having to raise his voice.

My baby will be home in about 4 weeks and counting. It's going to be an adjustment for everyone but I am looking forward to my husband sitting at the head of our household again!

I am looking forward to everything!! I am most excited about falling asleep in his arms and waking up in them. That is one sight that I cannot get out of my mind. He's been saying that we are going to get in the kitchen together. I'm smiling at that one. I'm ready to see that. He's the balance. He can tell when I have too much on my plate and he takes some of it. He just knows what needs to be done and does it. He's a little bit of everything.

OMG, G is such a protector. I am so looking forward to him leading the family. One of the things I am looking forward to is have a workout buddy. He is all about fitness so I know we can workout together.

The baby making cause from day one we wil be tryin to start our family. It has been so long that it will be the first time all over again.

Meeting my family and few close friends. I relocated during the time he was incarcerated so down south is a big change from PA. I just can't wait to see his face when he is able to go to the beaches for the first time. He can't swim, but I promised I will teach him. Also he loves cars and car racing. I live in NASCAR USA so I can't wait for him to go to a race. I have never been to a race myself, I am saving that experience for him.

And I guess peace. He is so not into drama. It is not in his nature. He helps me deal with life and work drama from afar...him being out will help me in this area even further...

Default I am looking forward to...

I am mostly looking forward to kisses and hugs that are unrestrained...slaps on the butt without having my visits taken.

Recouping some of the small fortune that I am dishing out to jpay and usps for postage. And saving that money for a year and taking a nice long vacation with my hubby.

I am looking forward to family vacations, football games, and that comfortable silence that we all appreciate from the one we love.

Most of all I am looking forward to my best friend to share in lifes ups and downs first hand.

Everything's been great! There are a lot of adjustments that our family is working through. We had so much to do the first couple of weeks he was home in preparation for our wedding and then we were gone for a week on our much needed honeymoon/vacation. It nice now that we can relax and get into our everyday routine between the house, kids, work and school.

Some of the biggest adjustments for me was having to share our bed, pillows, and comforter again with someone other than the cat. Oh, and cooking. His son came to stay with us after he came home so I went from cooking for 3 to cooking for 5. Four of which eat like grown men. One night I made spaghetti and cooked a 3lb. box of noodles. Yeah, way too much! We have had to manage everyone's time better with sharing the shower/bathroom, tv, computer, and even spending time with the kids just to make sure everyone's getting attention.

Both of our families have been supportive through this whole process and communication is key. Sometimes when things get crazy and hectic we have to remind each other that we're still on the same team, working towards the same goals. There's still the stresses of everyday life, it's just a different kind of stress from dealing with the DOC. Plus our family is together to work through it instead of waiting on a visit or a letter to discuss it.

I have to agree.. the groping with out getting visits taken away. I can't wait and the non stop hugging and kissing with out any restrictions. My man is the everything. I can hold it down with out him, but his son listens to me for the most part but he has been acting up wit his grandma and I think if turtle was here his son would be hella better. I always ask him for advice like what should I do and it would be alot easier if he were here to make the decisions. He is the king of the castle though. I cater to him and take care of him but he is like the protector.

I am looking forward to a work out buddy too! Van is so focused and I am so lets have a Brownie Sundae! I can't even say what I am looking forward to the most but I think it would be the boys really listen to him and value his opinion and having him available to deal with the grown knuckle heads I call children will be a load off my mind! It will leave me free to play with my grandson. Oh and me only working one job instead of 3 ...that will be nice! BOTH BOYS JUST GOT JOBS (thank goodness) but I can't count on them to do what they ought to do so I will keep doing it until my KING gets here! THIS IS HIS YEAR! I FEEL IT!
