My brother was senentced to life in July this year for a rape that was not a rape. They knew each other, my brother knew her husband. They didn't like each other because of something that had happened years earlier.(My brother and the husband), that is. My brother is married and has 3 small kids and so does she. We live in a small town, so everybody knows or knows of each other. This 28 year old female is known as a *****, dope head, and is known to have sugar daddies, not to mention giving 12 and 13 year old little boys alchol and booty if they brought to her the pain pills from their mothers cabinet. My brother did two bad, bad, things. He cheated on his wife, and was swapping two pain pills for the booty. Well her hubby drove by and caught my brothers car in the driveway, waited till he left, went back home, confronted his wife with a beating and made her call the police to my brother and cry rape. And thats exactly what she did. She told people before the trial that her husband made her do it and that she wasn't raped, but she wouldn't tell the DA the truth cause she was scared she would go to jail herself. She has ruined my brothers life, his wife's, children's, and mine and my childrens lives. We are hurting so bad. The day the verdict was read, it felt like a death had just happened. I cried for two weeks straight afterwards and can't get it off my mind still to this day. My mom is so depressed and cries all the time. My brothers children is having to seek counseling. His wife is struggeling to keep her sanity and to hang on to everything they have. To make matters worse we have to see the *****. Like I said we live in a small town, she actually now lives just down the street from me. I run into her sometimes while i'm out getting gas, or groceries. Just out riding around in the neigbor hood, there she will be at the fourway stop. Everybody knows that my brother didn't rape her except the right one's. Like the DA, and the rape crisis center lady. Even the judge and the main investigator didn't believe her, but the DA pushed it to a grand jury and my brother lost because his DNA was there. It was consentual sex not rape, and it proved not easy to prove on my brothers behalf. We ask that everyone pray for my brother, and for the girl that did this to him. Pray for God to send her a angel to work on her conscience.
